HEM Hexagonal Incense - Resin Collection & Ashcatcher (asst pack 6)

Six hexagonal packs of resin-inspired incense, gathered in one amber-coloured box. Frankincense, copal, benzoin, amber and myrrh are among the fragrances named on the packs, each one echoing the warm, smoky character of burning tree resin. It is a ready-made scent journey for an evening when you want the room to slow down.

What you'll notice

The box glows in golds and ambers, like light through a piece of resin, and the packs inside are colour-coded so each scent is easy to tell apart.

Frankincense, copal and benzoin sit alongside amber and myrrh, so the collection moves from sharp and bright to deep and balsamic.

Six different fragrances mean you can change the mood from one evening to the next, or try them side by side to find your favourite.

The set arrives with a slim green wooden ashcatcher, so a burner is included from the first stick.

Warm, earthy and mystical notes suit a quiet corner, a yoga mat or the last hour of the day.

How to burn

Rest one stick in the ashcatcher, light the tip, then blow out the flame so it smoulders. Keep it on a flat, heat-safe surface away from curtains, paper and anything that might catch. Burn it in a room with a little air moving, and never leave it unattended. Between scents, let the room clear so one fragrance does not blur into the next.

The resins behind the scents

Frankincense, myrrh, copal and benzoin come from the hardened sap of trees, tapped by hand and dried into amber-toned tears. Frankincense and myrrh were prized across the ancient world and burned in temples and churches for centuries. Copal has long been burned in …
