Bananna Leaf & Seagrass Large Baskets – Natural Browns- Set of 3

Layered together, these natural-fibre storage baskets bring a quiet, grounded texture to the room. Banana leaf and seagrass give them an earthy, tactile look, while the natural brown tones make everyday storage feel calm rather than tucked away.

A nested set for visible storage

Use them where the small things gather: throws by the sofa, scarves near the door, or soft essentials in a bedroom corner.

The nested look adds height and texture, so the baskets feel decorative even when they are empty.

The natural browns sit easily with wood, linen, rattan, stone and warm neutral interiors.

Each basket gives open, easy-to-reach storage for the pieces you want close at hand.

The plant-fibre texture softens hard surfaces and brings a more relaxed rhythm to shelving, floors and quiet corners.

Seagrass, straw and soft natural fibre

The baskets are made from seagrass, cotton and straw, with banana leaf named in the range. The appeal is in the contrast: smooth braided fibre, dry plant texture and a soft, natural finish that feels at home in mindful, lived-in spaces.

Natural brown tones and woven texture

The colour palette stays close to the material itself, with natural browns that feel warm without taking over the room. Because plant fibres have their own character, slight variation in tone and texture is part of the look.

How to place and care for them

Keep them indoors, away from prolonged damp. Dust with a dry cloth or soft brush, and let the fibres breathe rather than storing them in a humid space. They are best used for dry household storage, not wet items or outdoor exposure.

Basket-making in the home

Basketry is one of the oldest practical crafts, shaped by the materials people had close to hand: grasses, leaves, reeds, bark and fibre. In contemporary interiors, woven baskets have kept that practical purpose while becoming part of the room’s texture. They hold the everyday things that otherwise drift across a home, but they also add pattern, warmth…
