Yoshita Handicraft Thin Slice Peeler Sashimi Vegetable Cutter Stainless Steel Made Japan… Vairāk

This peeler can cut thin strips of food into pieces as thin as sashimi garnish. Made from rolled stainless steel, it has a soft finish that feels comfortable in your hand. It's crafted using metalworking techniques from Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, one of Japan's leading metalworking centers. This peeler lets you quickly shred carrots, cucumbers, potatoes, and more. Add some dressing and you have another side dish! I tried it in a sandwich by placing shredded carrots on top of chicken and avocado tossed in mayonnaise. It had a nice texture and was delicious. As the name "Handicraft" suggests, Yoshita Handicraft Design Studio designs and produces everyday items with the idea that "we want to cherish the experience of touching with your hands and feeling with your five senses," and "we want to discover and inspire ideas through interaction with tools and materials by using our hands." Since the knife is made of stainless steel, it will not rust, so all you need to do is wash it quickly and wipe off any moisture. If the blade becomes dull over time, you can replace it with a new blade (sold separately) using just a Phillips head screwdriver.
