Platinum Fountain Pen Procyon #50 Deepsea Medium Nib PNS-5000 50-3

Platinum Pen has launched a new fountain pen brand, "PROCYON."

"PROCYON" is named after Procyon, one of the 21 brightest stars in the sky, located in the constellation Canis Minor.

Designed with the concept of a sparkling fountain pen, it features a completely new form.

It also boasts enhanced functionality. Equipped with Platinum Pen's unique "Slip & Seal Mechanism," it allows for smooth writing even after a period of disuse, ensuring fresh ink.

Furthermore, it features a newly designed feed that facilitates ink filling.

When using a converter to draw in ink, it's possible to draw in ink without completely immersing the nib.

Other features include an aluminum body with an optimal weight balance and a pentagonal nib.

It stimulates the "joy of writing," and the special coating that feels comfortable against the skin and the vibrant color range stimulate the "joy of holding."

A fountain pen that can be used casually, both on and off duty, regardless of gender.

1. Equipped with a "Slip & Seal Mechanism" for smooth writing anytime The "Slip & Seal Mechanism," a feature of Platinum Fountain Pen's flagship model "#3776 Century," is also incorporated into the "PROCYON." Despite being a screw-type nib, it features a unique mechanism that completely seals the nib with an inner cap to prevent drying.

You can write smoothly anytime and write with fresh ink.

2. Newly designed nib for easy ink filling With the "PROCYON," there is no need to immerse the grip in ink when filling with a converter.

A newly designed feed allows for sufficient ink absorption by simply dipping the nib up to the shoulder.

This also makes it easier to draw ink from ink bottles with low ink levels.

3. A large, flexible, pentagonal-shaped nib with excellent resilience.

In 1962, Platinum Pen released Japan's first pentagonal-shaped gold nib fountain pen.

The "PROCYON" adopts a pentagonal-shaped nib that inherits that know-how.

Its moderate flexibility provides a writing feel similar to a gold nib, despite being made of stainless steel.

4. An aluminum body with an optimal weight balance design.

By adopting a voluminous metal body and using aluminum material, it achieves a weight that is neither too heavy nor too light.

Designed for optimal writing, with balance considered even when the cap is attached to the rear.

5 Special paint colors that stimulate the joy of holding A matte yet smooth-to-the-touch paint that takes advantage of the texture of the metal body A lineup of 5 colors with a glossy finish reminiscent of porcelain The color range, which stands out as an accent on suits and other clothing, will make you stand out even when not writing.
