"Turing Machine" is a high-difficulty logic analysis game in which you uncover a secret 3-digit code by stacking punched cards to create a 3-digit test code and examining it with a mysterious mechanism that judges it through the holes, while analyzing features such as "the size relationship between digits" and "whether there are digits with the same value."

[Game contents] All players proceed at the same time, each creating their own 3-digit test code that seems likely to gather clues more efficiently. By passing this code through a feature-judging mechanism called the "verifier," you look for fragmentary information about whether properties such as the "relative size of each digit" and "whether there are digits with the same value" also apply to the answer's 3-digit code, and gradually get closer to the correct answer. The winner is the person who reaches the answer in the earliest round and with the fewest judgments, so it will be essential to make your 3-digit code efficiently and decide which verifier to start with.

[Mysterious mechanism] Turing machine refers to an "automatic computing machine with the properties of what can be called a computer," named after the British mathematician Alan Turing. In this game, you challenge yourself to identify the secret code using a simulated computer mechanism made with punched cards with holes. When you stack cards with many holes to assemble a test code, only one hole remains as the cards overlap. When you place that on a judging card, the feature results are determined by the X marks and check marks visible through the hole. The fun of this mysterious mechanism is one of the game’s major attractions.

[Recommended points] It requires very advanced logical thinking, and every time you notice how to solve the analysis and deduction, you will be able to derive answers with a magical process that seems to outsiders like "I don't know why that works." The mysterious punched-card verifier and the many challenging, rewarding puzzles are also highlights, and the deeper you think, the more you will likely fall into its unique appeal. It is a highly recommended game for adults who like games that let them enjoy careful, thoughtful logical thinking.
