Large Sage Stick Heater Enamelled - 3 of Swords

A dark wooden base, a small tealight glowing at one end, and a bundle of dried sage resting on a slim black metal rail just above it. This is the 3 of Swords Large Enamelled Sage Stick Heater, a practical ritual accessory with the drama of tarot imagery built into its surface. It is made for someone who wants the quiet pause of the ritual, not just the smoke.

What you'll notice

The 3 of Swords card is set into the wood, its red heart pierced by three swords against a pale, clouded sky. It sits flat and glossy against the grain.

A black metal rail rises from the base and carries the sage stick at a slight slope, held in the air rather than lying on the surface.

The tealight sits in a small round metal cup at one end, so the flame stays contained and the sage is warmed from below.

The wood has a deep, warm brown tone with visible grain along the edges, so the piece looks settled on a shelf, altar or side table.

It reads as a small sculpture even when nothing is burning, with the tarot card, dark wood and black metal forming one composed object.

Wood, enamel and metal

The base is a solid block of dark-stained wood with a smooth, lightly lustrous finish. The tarot image is enamelled and set flat into the top, giving it a glassy surface that contrasts with the grain around it. The rail that holds the sage is black metal, slim and angular, with a small support at the far end. Together they make a simple, balanced design with nothing superfluous.

How to use it

Rest a sage stick along the rail and place a lit tealight in the metal cup beneath it. The warmth from the flame is what the design is built around, so the sage sits close to it without touching the wood. Place it on a stable, heat-safe surface, keep it away from anything flammable, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Because the stick is raised and the candle is housed, the ritual becomes something to set up and attend to rather than prop in a dish.
